This one-block quilt comes together fast and uses all 2.5-inch strips—even the background! Your best friends for making this quilt are an accurate quarter-inch seam and accurate cutting skills. But, hey, even if you lose a point here or there, this design will still get you going in the right direction. There are also bonus directions for an alternate setting for your blocks.
Small: 48” x 48” (32 blocks)
Medium: 60” x 60” (50 blocks)
Large: 72” x 72” (72 blocks)
32 (50, 72) 2.5” strips of different colors. It is up to you whether you want to use a different color for the large triangle in each block or have them repeat.
20 (31, 43) 2.5” strips of background color
Or, if cutting background from yardage, 1.5 (2¼, 3) yards,
cut into the number of strips stated above.
